Rosemary Cottage is a beautifully converted ironstone barn within a small cluster at Higher Widemouth Farm, just half a mile from the sea. Bright, spacious, and tastefully styled, it’s the perfect retreat after a day on the beach.
The open-plan living area makes cooking and dining a social affair, while the bedrooms offer calm, inviting spaces to unwind.
A short stroll along the bridlepath leads to Black Rock Beach at Widemouth Bay — dog-friendly year-round and ideal for surfing, swimming, or simply enjoying the sand. Nearby you’ll find pubs serving hearty meals and local ales, one just 500 yards away, plus easy access to the South West Coast Path for breathtaking walks and sunsets. Bude is only four miles away, offering shops, eateries, and activities for all tastes.
Outside, Rosemary Cottage shares a pretty rose garden courtyard with Olive Tree Cottage, complete with outdoor seating for al fresco meals and evening drinks. Guests can also enjoy a large communal picnic area with sweeping valley views — a lovely blend of countryside charm and seaside living.
