The local area has some of the best outdoor activity centres in the UK, most offering a range of activities such as kayaking, abseilling, coasteering, climbing, windsurfing and more.
Bude and Widemouth beach are great surfing locations and have produced a number of British and European Champions. There are a number of surf schools operating on these beaches. See our surfing page for surf forecast
As well as fishing, the near-by Tamar lakes offer sailing and other water activities, or just take a peaceful walk on the circuit footpath.
For indoor activities Bude has an indoor swimming pool with waves and water slide, next door is a 10 pin bowling alley and children’s play zone.
Tennis, golf, squash, badminton, field archery, paint balling, horse riding, lawn bowls, crazy golf, go-cart racing, family adventure parks, quaint villages, crabbing ….activities for all… tall and small !
Days Out
Take a journey to the quaint villages or historic estates in the local area.
A trip out to an adventure park or further afield, a visit to the world famous Eden Project.
